Conference in Milan, Italy
May 30th - June 1st, 2008
We
warmly extend an invitation to all the saints to participate
in the upcoming weekend conference to be held in Milan,
Italy on May 31 and June 1.
We would ask you not only pray for the conference, but
consider coming to blend with us.
Because we will be holding the conference in a hotel in
the center of Milan, there will be new arrangements affecting
accommodation and meals. Please pay careful attention
to the information below.
We
have enclosed a list of hotels with details of location,
price and telephone numbers.
All the saints are required to register with Amana Trust
first.
Everyone needs to call the hotel and arrange by himself
except those who apply for hotel Ibis group rate.

group rate:
There
are 40 double rooms available on May 30 and
May 31 for those who register earlier through
Amana Trust and stay two nights. The price is
136 Euro for two persons, two nights, including
breakfast.
If
you want to come earlier or stay later, please
indicate the dates on the registration form.
We will inform you regarding the extra payment.
The
cancellation can be done only before April 28,
otherwise you need to share the cost we pay
in advance.
We will inform you when there is no room available.

This hotel is located at Via Tonale 14, near central
station.
You can take tram 5 (not 5/) direction Parco Nord,
stop at Testi/Ca'Granda and walk to Viale Suzzani.
Novotel is 5 minutes away. Alternatively, you can
take bus 42; stop at Viale Suzzani, Ca' Granda,
in front of the Novotel.
MEALS
Your breakfast is included in the hotel price. We will
arrange two sack lunches and one dinner on May 31 and
June 1 for the saints who register for the conference.
The cost will be included in the registration fee.
If
you do not want to take meals, please indicate in the
registration form.

TRANSLATION

CHILDREN'S
MEETINGS
We will be making arrangements for children’s meetings
and activities during the conference meetings. Parents
will be expected to help each day. Parents must be responsible
for supervising their children at all other times. Young
people, 13 years and above, who come to the conference
must attend all the conference meetings or activities
arranged for their age group.
PARKING
There
are very limited free parking lots at Novotel and Ibis
hotel. You can park on surrounding streets, but be careful
not to leave anything in the car. There is a underground
car park at the hotel. The tariff is 1 Euro per hour and
up to 15 Euro per day.
VISAS
AND CURRENCY
Italy
is one of the Schengen visa countries in EU. Please check

Italy's
currency is the Euro (€). You can get the best exchange
rate at the ATM machines.
WEATHER
The
average temperature in Milan in June is 65-85ºF (18-28ºC).
Please
make your own arrangements to arrive at the hotel you
will be staying at. We
will not be able to provide transportation to and from
airports or train stations.
By flight or by train:
If you arrive at Milan Malpensa, Linate or Bergamo Rio
al Serio aiport, you can take the bus to the Milan main
train station first.
At the Milan main train station, facing the front entrance,
go to the left side:
Take city bus no. 42 to Viale Suzzani /Viale Ca Granda,
stop in front of Novotel.
Take
tram no. 5 (not no. 5/) direction to Parco Nord, stop
at Testi/Ca Granda, walk up to the first traffic light,
make left on Viale Suzzani.
Take
taxi, for about 12 Euro
By
Car:
Exit
at Cormano on A4 (Torino-Venezia), direction toward Milan
center, about 4km pass under the railway, next traffic
light make left on Via Ospedale, go along the street to
the traffice light in front of Niguada hospital main entrance,
make right on Viale Ca Granda. On the next traffic light
make a right turn on Viale Suzzani. You can find out more
information from the hotel website.
If you do not stay in Hotel Novotel or Ibis, please find
the direction from the hotel.
We
would ask all the saints coming to the conference to register
by 12th May 2008. You can either apply Ibis group
rate from us or book the room by yourself from hotel.
If you apply hotel Ibis group rate through Amana trust,
you can cancel the room only before 28th April,
otherwise you need to share the cost that we pay in advance.
In addition to the hotel room you pay, there will be an
extra conference registration fee of 40 Euro per adult,
20 Euro for children age 4 to 10, 30 Euro for age 11 to
18. There is no fee for children under 3 years of age.
