The church in Lausanne - Bussigny would like to invite you to the international conference held from September 24th until 26th, 2010 in Leysin, Switzerland.
The meetings will be held in French and English, with simultaneous translation. There will be interpreters for German and Spanish. For any other languages, please bring your own equipment (e.g. FM radio and headset).
Children's Meetings
Children's and young people meetings will take place parallel to the adult meetings. Extra young people meetings, like outing on Saturday, will be announced at the conference.

Parking is available at the Hotel.
Visa And Currency
Switzerland's currency is Switzerland Francs (SFr) but most businesses take also Euros. You can get the best exchange
rate at the ATM machines at the airport or train stations.
Switzerland is NOT part of the EU. Please check if you require a visa before registering.
Weather
The average temperature in Leysin in September is 8-12ºC (46-53ºF). Possible rain.
All those going to the conference will have to take care of their own transportation. There will be no special pick-up or collection from the airport. Leysin is a mountain resort, located in the Alps Vaudois, above Aigle easy to access, e.g. by car and train from the airport (Hotel website)
When you fly into Geneva Airport, there is a rail connection between Geneva and Leysin which will take about 1.5-2 hours. Train schedules can be found on the website of the Swiss railway system http://www.sbb.ch/en/ (This link will give you the English version, but on the site you can also choose for a French, German or Italian version).
If you go by train to Leysin get off at the Versmont station, which is the 2nd one when arriving to Leysin.
If you come by car you have to get onto the freeway in the direction of Gd-Saint-Bernard, the E62, exit Aigle. Follow the signs Leysin. It is about 22 kilometers from Aigle to Leysin.
