Woodland Camp Update

We are pleased to announce that Woodland Camp is now open for events! Hallelujah! We began with two events for the young people that were each a week long. Ninety attendees were on site for each event with others joining remotely. It was enjoyable and glorious for the young people to be able to come together again in the UK and to enjoy the new cabins and refurbished hall. The construction work is continuing at pace with plans to finish the medium sized hall (D cabin) and the reception building.

On cabin D, the brothers continued with the installation of the floor and insulation.

A brother from Sweden came to blend and help the site to relocate a stockpile near the D cabin using a 21-tonne excavator.

All the west side of the camp was graded after moving all the stockpile down to the valley.

After the grading of the soil the brothers backfilled the side of the retaining wall protecting it first with an anti-moisture membrane all across the wall.

Works have also started at the entrance of the camp with the building of the reception building.

Along the installation of the blocks, the services of cold and hot water, electrical cables, gas, and sewage were installed.
