Woodland Camp Update
March 2022—May 2022

The construction work at Woodland Camp is continuing according to schedule. The reception building and landscaping around the entrance and the east side of the camp are nearing completion. Additionally, the west hall is due to be completed in July, which will greatly enlarge our meeting and dining capacity for events in the remainder of the year. Hallelujah!

Inside the west hall, the electrical cables for the door controls were installed, and the radiant heating panels are being finished.

The brothers used a balometer that allows us to identify and improve air flow distribution within a duct system. It can help to tackle improper air ventilation for the comfort of the saints.
5 / 12
Inside the west hall, the brothers installed a plywood wall as part of the building finish.
6 / 12
In the dining hall, a canopy was built to provide more dining space and places for fellowship.
7 / 12
Around the mechanical plant (boiler) room, the brothers poured the concrete steps, graded the soil, and completed the perimeter with railway sleepers.
8 / 12
The main field was graded, and topsoil was laid to prepare this large central area for grass.
9 / 12
Many serving ones and trainees had the opportunity to come to Woodland Camp to lay the turf.
10 / 12
Around the main field, the brothers have laid a layer of type 1 stone as the base for gravel pathways and picnic areas.
11 / 12
The exterior of the reception cabin has been finished, and the landscaping is being planned.
12 / 12
The interior is nearing completion, and cabinets and a reception desk have been installed.
