Woodland Camp Update – 02 March 2019
The focus of the work this week was on the central plant.
Contractors came to install an 18,000 litre water tank in the central plant. The brothers hung the main electrical switch for the camp, and the whole interior of the central plant received a coat of paint.
We thank the Lord for the exceptionally warm and dry weather that enabled the brothers working on the site to complete the main utility trenches that will connect the west side of the cabins to the central plant. This time last year, the ground was covered in snow, but this year recorded the hottest February day, which allowed the work to continue at pace.
The brothers also built steps for all the beds in the refurbished cabins. These steps will improve access to the upper bunks for the older saints. They also begun to hang plasterboard in the prototype cabin (photos to come next week—the work was obscured by scaffolding at the time of writing).
