Woodland Camp Update — 24 December 2018

The majority of the work at Woodland Camp this week was related to the central plant.

The brothers have erected 12 galvanised-steel columns and 19 pieces of horizontal bracing. The horizontal bracing forms the base of the roof and a mezzanine.

Thirteen wooden trusses were set to form a peaked roof over the mechanical room. Plywood has been laid over the flat roof covering the electrical room.

The brothers formed and poured the concrete retaining walls on three sides of the central plant. They also poured a raised floor for the electrical room, and a waterproof primer is being applied to seal the concrete.

Additionally, the brothers also poured footings to support an expansion to the deck on the prototype cabin.
