Woodland Camp Update – 26 January 2019

Despite a little snow, the brothers continued to make progress at Woodland Camp this week.

The walls of the central plant are now sheathed in plywood and wrapped in Tyvek. The brothers also made progress installing plywood sheathing inside the building.

The water piping for the eastern cabins was completed. The brothers have moved on to laying the electrical line that will serve these cabins.

More trees were transplanted, making way for future development and creating a pleasant entry to the camp.

A group of trainees continued to clear brambles around the ponds.

The brothers also framed a utility closet and an enclosed bench on the prototype cabin. The bench will provide a comfortable, dry spot to remove muddy shoes and hang coats.
