Woodland Camp Update
April 2021

Through the remainder of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, we have been dealing with the limitations of the current pandemic. These have included not being able to obtain certain materials and supplies and also needing to take extra care to protect the health of the workers on site. Despite these restrictions, the work has continued to progress, and the Lord has covered all the workers and visitors on the site.

In the following photos, you will see that all the work on the cabins on the east side of the camp has almost been completed, including the standard two-bedroom cabins and the larger family cabins. A significant start on an enlarged cabin (called a D cabin) was made, and when finished, it will provide an indoor recreational area and a temporary location for meetings of up to approximately 150 people. We have also begun to work on the landscape around Woodland Camp. The focus for this is the grass and shrubs in the immediate vicinity of the cabins, but we have also created a path down the hill to a viewing deck overlooking the ponds. Finally, the main driveway has been improved greatly with installation of kerbs and a finished road surface.
